Wake Me is Andrew Akler’s and Tale Slate Production’s first short film about a boy struggling to accept the loss of his beloved mother. The film received high praise at its premiere festival and garnered 6 different awards including Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best in Show.
